StormStock Captures Hurricane Delta as She Impacts Gulf Coast
The StormStock team was on the US Gulf Coast earlier this month to document the arrival of Hurricane Delta. There have been so many named tropical storms this year that the National Hurricane Center ran out of names and had to default to the Greek alphabet for naming purposes.
Cinematographer Martin Lisius and producer Steven George were in Galveston, Texas and later in the northern eye wall of Delta as she tracked into Louisiana on Friday, October 9th. Crashing storm surf, intense winds and aftermath damage were captured on DCI 4K for licensing exclusively through StormStock. Preview clips from the Delta shoot can be downloaded from the StormStock Hurricanes & Typhoons web page.
